Guest guest
I don't know either if SSA laws differ from state to state! That's a shame! I', so sorry for your long wait, but it seems we all do. Use the SSA law 14.06 for undifferentiated connective tissue disorders. EDS falls into this category. And because it is so severe they have to award you the disability. Also keep geting yout Dr . to write exactlly all the things you cannot do. Have him make the list long. Write a jopurnal in graohic detail how this affects your daily activities of living; ie you can't read because you can't hold the book up or newspapers. Medications make concentration difficult. You can't sit more than 1-2 hours. If you use an assitive device, cane brace, wheelchair include it. Heim is at a meeting today , he will be home later. I'm sorry to hear about the stomach flu, I had it last week, now my husband has it! My Dr's didn't understand the delay either, but that's SSA's game. If you spell it backwards SSA, that's what they are. TeeHeeHee! Sorry I just had to say that! Because they are, a huge beauracratic system that doesn't care. They figure the longer they draw it out, the chances you will return to work out of despiration will come!
