Though, I'm hoping for a small reprieve this year as we've invited my favorite aunt and uncle over for christmas dinner (because their son will be spending the holiday in Iraq) which means my parents will have to be on speaking terms......at least for the dinner, (because we have to keep up appearances and all) so that'll be good. Used to spend the holiday with my best friend and her family and she and her husband would spend the eve with mine, but I no longer fit into her life, so it'll be a harder holiday than usual. But, this too shall pass and things won't be so bad. Have a good one. Tricia Tricia, Isn't it amazing how chronic pain and illness can just totally change your life? I think for the most part we all deal with what life has given us pretty good. I thank God everyday for this group because even the best intended person cannot understand what we go through. It is so comforting knowing that I have all of you to lean on because you all have been there done that!! LOL!!!! I am very happy that you will be spending the holidays with family. I love what you said, "This too shall pass" I tell myself this all of the time. Your Aunt and Uncle's son who is in Iraq is in my prayers. I pray for our soldiers every day. My best friend is there too. He is coming home January 10th for a 10 day R+R. He is staying with me and we are just going to chill on the beach for 10 days until he has to go back. I cant wait!! Try and enjoy the holidays and I am so happy you get to spend it with a favorite relative. Take care, Love Jai
