I stepped on one last year, and didn't do a thing and was fine. You can get the

tetnus after symptoms develop and still be ok, I believe.

I would either soak the foot in hydrogen peroxide or put

ozonated olive oil on it. I don't claim this is " the right

thing " to do, but it is what I would do.
