Guest guest
I have Kaiser, Northern California, as my insurance. My gyn suggested a vaginal myo and ablation. Turns out that I didn't need the vag. myo as Lupron shrank my fibroide, but had the ablation. That was in October and I'm doing very well. No more heavy bleeding, clotting, or cramps. So, don't write off Kaiser. You might have to be a outspoken with what you want. nne > I had Kaiser as my insurance about 4 years ago. > My current insurance, PPO Blue Cross/Shield will cover 90% of the surgery. I am being treated much, much differently this go around.
Guest guest
-Agreed. I had a hysteroscopic resection of a submucosal fibroid at Kaiser in Portland, Oregon 11/2 years ago. Another coworker of mine had a UAE at the same Kaiser with a different surgeon three years ago. The difficulty was that there are two surgeons who are good at my type of surgery and one of them was an interpersonal zero. So I waited longer to find my way to the right person, but I did find him and had a very successful procedure with good followup.
