Happy Halloween Everyone.

We have a great Indian Summer Day here in NJ (great for the kids

Trick-or-Treating later). I got back out on the bicycle today - 1st

time since mid-September. Having been plagued by back problems,

an early fall (cold, rainy, windy), and a rear tire that kept springing

a flat, it's been tough getting out.

Anyways, with my back feeling great (and my tire all repaired), I

decided to take advantage of the weather. I did a short, 13.5 mile

jaunt out to the mountain and it just felt great. Leaves falling on

me as I passed down the country roads, a crispness in the air. Going

west, the wind was working against me, but coming back east, I

flew with the tailwind. I " m pretty much a fair-weather cyclist - so any

days this late in the season that I can get out are a bonus (gets me off

the

treadmill). Hopefully, there's a handful left in November.

The kids are excited about the holiday - already discussing their favorite

candies - does a good job of limiting them. I'll just stay away.

Best,

Mitch

Hi there Mitch,

I love the vivid picture you wrote of your bike ride. This is such a

beautiful time of year, sounds just like here. As far as the

Halloween treats, we never need much as we don't have trick or

treaters around. I get very little just in case. Last night I had one

child, our neighbors.

Glad to hear your back is much better, because it can sure drag you

down can't it. My problems of late are that my allergies get

horrible. Other than that things are great. Just back from my

extended vacation, I have lots to do. It was wonderful and I came

back much lighter too..lol!!

Have a great day!!!~~Kallie~
