Guest guest
First of all, WELCOME BACK, JILL! YAY!!! So glad you are somewhat better. We've all really missed you and I know that many of us have been praying for you and thinking of you. It's so good to have you back with us...just don't be like me and overdo it. I have an amazingly dumb question (my intelligence has always been overestimated!). I have never been seen by a rheumatologist, nor has any of the many specialists I see ever mentioned to me that I should. However, I know that many other EDSer's do regularly see one. Is this something I should look into? What could a rheumy do for me that isn't already being done, if anything? I'm glad you at least got some definite answers from Dr. Byers, . What's he like in person? Love, ~LoneStarRose~ (~~)
Guest guest
Thank you , I appreciate all of your kind thoughts, prayers and support!!!! We simply have to meet one day! Now no question is ever dumb!!! A rheumatologist is someone who specializes in diseases of connective tissues and arthritis - what can he do for you? Well, he might just be a valuable source of referral and information gathering if you do not have someone who can work in just that kind of capacity already.
