Hi there,

Zoe cried while getting all of her casts. I don't think it is because

it hurt, but because she did not like being messed with. I offered

her a pacifier and that calmed her a bit. Once they finished putting

the cast on, which took no more than 5 minutes, we cuddled her and

she was fine. I would say she was a bit achy with her first cast for

about a day and we gave her Tylenol. With all of the other casts she

was not fussy at all.

Kody got his first Ponseti cast also when he was already 2 month

old.

He was crying and fighting it a lot (They called him the super-baby)

we tried different things after that: Pacifier (unfortunately he

doesn;t take) toys: he didn't care, bottle worked pretty good!

Afterwards he always sleeps at least an hour or two but he is fine

and all himself.
