Guest guest
Hello again everyone:) I am at a crossroad... and will take pictures of my sons feet tomorrow so I can send them to Dr. P. I have to try and find the e-mail in the archives....But, I have been worried in the back of my mind that he was headed towards a relapse and want to put my mind at ease. Please don't get me wrong..Our Doctor is very much recommended and fully into Dr. Ponseti's method. He is not putting Kris in the walking boot to try and correct the feet, he is putting him in these as an addition...to the shoes with the braces he wears at night. ( we have the new shoes that are out, with the red bent bar) We still have our regular appointment on June 1st for his feet. This will be his normal 6 mo visit, and we will ck the length of his bar and see if we might need to bump up the shoes to a size bigger... I always read that a mothers instincts should be looked into, and that's why I want to let Dr. Ponseti see his feet and let me know if Kris is going into relapse. I have seen my sons x-rays of both feet and the bones that are located in the front that go to the toes are turned inward at a slight c shaped angle, but did not think anything of it. So...I will see about getting pictures off, and pray we are not gonna have to go into casts again. Do I send pictures of him standing? or of him off his feet? I guess I will take a bunch of him in all kinds of positions and let Dr. Ponseti choose... Oh yah... Thank you & I did go to the web sight and ordered a pair of shoes from the Preschoolians:) thank you:) will let you know how they fit...As for Dorothy and Amelia...I lost touch with her, and never did get to meet them...I wish she would e-mail me:) Also , if you have a picture of Emma's foot when it started to relapse...I would really like to see it:) I will take pictures tomorrow of Kris and if anyone wants to see them I have a photo web sight I use for my personal and business use that I can post an album on. I can put pictures of his feet at birth and him going through castings and his first day in his shoes too...(boy, don't we all remember those days...) thank you all for the info...I really appreciate it:) " Love and Aloha to all the parents and babies out there, we all share a very special connection and bond, but the best part is we are not alone:) " Carole & Kristopher Bilateral club feet (6-11-02) Still in DBB's at night Under the care of Dr. Durkin, as a patient, and at Shriners here in Hawaii.
