Guest guest
That is a good question. I guess because the basis of the two plans are different. With Flex you count points and from what I understand the Core program you don't. So if a person goes from counting to not counting to counting again a person might get confused. I know I will need to keep with the flex plan because I need to count. e The only way you can switch back and forth is to count all core foods and stick OT your target range daily. That takes the fun out of the flexibility of the core plan. You do not have to count on the core plan as long as you are eating core foods. I started in May I think after our spring meeting. The plan works best if you do it as written and do not improvise. If it says something isn't a core food then it isn't. Cheating doesn't work very well either. 35 flex points and you activity points are all the extras you should have. You still need to eat the activity points the day you earn them. But it is easy to follow and the core foods are really enough. They eliminated from the core list anything that might trigger a binge or make you want to eat more and more. So ice cream is missing as is chocolate. But you can still use your flex points any way you want to.
