Even if it was like potatoes and brown rice: once a day only. It seems to me that there would be no harm in that. I understand why it's not a regular core food - a lot of people like me are bread-a-holics. If it was a core food I'd be eating it all day long! Why is bread not Core? I've been looking over the Core food lists and also at the ingredients and nutritional information on the packages of bread that we normally buy. Why is bread not on the Core list? -- Slainte, S. You know, eat one, eat more...and more.......and more..... There are good breads now where two slices of regular sized bread are one point--Nature's own 100% whole wheat, for example. Not the skinny bread, though some of that is good, as well. But, if a sandwich can be available for only one of the weekly points allowance, I don't think that's too bad.
