Guest guest
Beth I grew up in East Tennessee and I know first hand the beauty it holds in the Fall. I grew up in Oak Ridge. Spent my Fall's walking in Gatlinburg dipping candles in colored wax and shopping at all the souviner shops. I'm sure it's not the same, but I really loved it. We had an AWESOME day! .. She also happens to be someone who is extremely obese and often mocks me for running and mocks the food choices I make. (Yes, she actually is a very good friend and I don't think she understands that it bothers me. She doesn't mean it in a cruel way, and I recognize it as a defense mechanism. I know it isn't easy to see your former fat friend who used to be your eating partner, turn into Ms. Jock.) BUT! Roy and I had a very nice day. The weather was absolutely amazing. It was one of those picture perfect Fall days. The leaves were gorgeous. Running through Seattle was just my idea of a perfect Fall morning. We didn't let our friend make us mad. It was just too beautiful to let anger intrude. Wonderful day... Tory Klementsen, MCP A+
