I'd reply directly to yours but " hotmail " won't let me do that so I'll do it this way My wife Joan is with me . She's a nurse so maybe I can work on the sympathy angle & getlots of TLC???? . We'll be arriving Feb 27th and plan to do a little looking around Brugge etc prior to the surgery . We've also left a little time at the end (leaving March 12th) to see if we can see some of Ghent , however that'll depend on how recovery goes. One of DrDeSmet's patients lives not far from me and said his experience was that he could do some touring in Ghent once he was settled in at the Holiday Inn. Healing times vary ...so we'll see.
