Guest guest
Hello Group, I just joined your group. I joined WW after each of my two children. I loved it!! It seemed perfect for me, the right balance between structure and freedom, and eating real, honest to goodness food - not prepackaged cardboard tasting frozen meals. I kept the weight (78 lbs) off for many years until I had a serious back injury (broken - can no longer log my 4 miles a day) and a divorce (which only furthered my eating out of depression). I tried joining WW again, but found the points system to not be as good a fit for me. Left to me, I would eat all my points on doughnuts!!! When I was forced to have a balanced diet using the exchanges, I did much better (and felt much better - more energy). I still have all my cookbooks from way back when, and many meal plans are still in my memory, but I no longer have my written info from then. Is anyone else here still using exchanges (so if/when I have a question)? If not, I'm sure that I will still appreciate support and a sense of comradarie. Thanks, Beth
Guest guest
Welcome Beth! You'll definitely enjoy it here! Have you looked into the new Core Plan? It sounds like it's JUST the thing for you by giving you a list of acceptable foods and leaving you with 35 allowance points per week for those 'gotta have a doughnut' moments.
