>>I take 100 mcg. of Cytomel with 5 grains of Armour. I was concerned

because I was up to 9 grains and kept needing more Armour. Cytomel

balances me, I must need more T3?<<

At last! I am NOT alone! LOL I am at 6 grains Armour and recently upped to 75MCg

Cytomel. So far it is working better than the 7 grains Armour & 38.5 mcg Cytomel

I was on. I may even try your formula if this doesn't seem quite right. But I am

not able to take all mine at once, in fact it seems to work best for me at 4

times a day starting with the highest dosage and tapering it through the day to

my last dosage of 1 grain Armour at bedtime.

Have you tried a pill splitter? I have one for my cat's pills so I can put

them in tiny pieces in his treats...

A pill splitter is a good idea, thanks.

I am very sensitive to sleeplessness, so taking my armour and cytomel

in the am works, as I get the most energy in the am and go down as

the day goes on. By 8 or 9 pm I am done.

I take my supplements (about 30) in the afternoon and that gives me

more energy. All the recommended, plus omega 3 oils, coconut oil

capsules (4) and herbal energy w/o green tea.

>>What is Cytomel and why do you take it with Armour?<<

Cytomel contains ONE of the thyroid hormones that is in Armour as well. Some

folks need MORE of certain kinds of the thyroid hormones. Cytomel is pure T3,

the most active hormone. I am one that can't convert T4 to T3 at all, so I need

alot of T3 to keep me running properly, so I have to take direct T3 as well as

Armour to get enough of it. Most people either need no extra T3 or some may even

need additional T4, but it is rare to need as much T3 as I have to take, that

was why I was surprised to find another on the list that takes it like I do! LOL

Cytomel is synthetic T-3, and I added it because I was finding myself

needing more and more armour to stabilize.

I just found out that myrxforless is no longer. I guess I will

continue to look.

Thanks for the info! I don't know if my endo will prescribe any to me

or not but I see you can get it without a prescription at some Mexican

pharmacies. This is all very new to me so I hope everyone will be

patient with me! lol
