>>My son did best with 4 to 6 days " on " .

HI Dana,

When you say that are you speaking about progress made? Or just tolerating

the chelating process physically? Or was he better while on round than off?

I was noticing this round that my son would kind of start to fall apart

about 30 minutes before he was ready for his next dose (ALA only, every

3hours) then get better right after the dose. It could have been my

imagination, but it seemed to happen more than once. Could this be possible?

What does it mean?

Try dosing every 2.5 hours. I have read of this before, Valentina used to do

2.5 hourly, I often do it for my son, we only go 3.5 at night too. Maybe he

has a faster metabolism and processes it quicker?

I am not Dana, but I would try to give the same dose every 2.5 hours.

Dagmar.

need to increase his anti-oxidants [vitamin C and/or selenium, among

others]. Or he might need more sulfur in his diet.<

Hi Dana,

Thanks as always for your time and answers.

I will look into the above ideas.

Do you think it could mean I should increase his ALA dose? We are at the low

end since we only completed our 3rd round so far. He is getting 12.5mg at 59

pounds.

I don't know how to get any different dosing except to jump straight to 25

mg. which would be the whole cap. That seems a bit scary to me so double it,

and

we are seeing results with the low dose.

Can you jump up the dose for the last couple of doses during a round to see

what happens? Then if all goes well use the higher dose for the next round?

I think you can do 4 hours during the night even if you do 2 or 2 1/2 hours

during the day. You could always vary the frequency one round and the lenghth of

round the next and see how he does better, or just go back altogether to what

you know worked best.

All the best,

Dagmar.

If I did that would it still be OK to go to the 4 hours at night?

Actually now that I think about it, the very first round we did, I did every

2 or 21/2 hours during the day, so I could get back to a better time to

start the night schedule. He did the best so far on that round. It was also

the entire 72 hours round including 3 nights. I was thinking the length of

round made the difference, but maybe it was the dosing

time.....
