Guest guest
Anyone out there ever have to take Prednisone regularly? I am having a bad flareup of my asthma, and I am 95% sure that my doctor will be prescribing Prednisone for me. The long-term side effects of Prednisone are dangerous, but fortunately I'll only be taking it for a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, the short-term side effects are just annoying: irritibility, tiredness, and, above all, hunger. How do you cope with that sort of thing -- with a drug that makes you grumpy, and hungry, and grumpier because you're hungry? More importantly, how do your loved ones cope with you while you're on it? -- S. Guest guest
My husband took it years ago, for some infetility problems. He was only on it a few weeks too. It is a powerful drug. He didn't seem to have too many problems. I am sure if you let your family know, they will be extra understanding. Good luck, we women are always dealing with these symptoms once a month. LOL The men in our life try to understand. (well Most) Go Scrap " Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
