Guest guest
Hello all:) I have been seeing the issue of the toes again:) This has been an issue of mine for quite a while:) My son Kristopher has been doing this also. He has been re-casted not to long ago, but not becouse of his toes, becouse the sides of his feet were starting to turn in, and he was not able to walk three steps without falling, he would scrape his outer baby toe every day to the point of bleeding, I almost thought he was going to loose that little nail. So far he has been doing well, and the feet are not angled inward anymore....BUT HE STILL CURLS those toes!!! AHHH It is scary to us moms that are always on the lookout for any type of relapse! When he dose this it makes his feet look, as we call it here in Hawaii...pigeon toed. I too always tell the doc, I worry about this, and have been told he will outgrow it. Were still waiting:) If you would like to see pictures of his feet before the re-casting and after, I have a photo album in cfpics (I don't know if the site is still having problems, it gave me the error page) Aloha, Carole Kristopher born: June 11 02 Bilateral CF Ponsetti from 7days old, FAB/DBB 14hrs to 16hrs a day and wears AFO's during the day when out and about.
