Guest guest
Hi, Are you trying to use ablation to treat heavy bleeding from a fibroid or fibroids? It won't work. The fibroids would need to be removed or have a UAE done. You need to know the cause of your heavy bleeding. You need to be checked for anemia too. I currently take Yasmin, a birth control pill, for the past year that is helping immensely. Periods 7 days and controllable. My question--I have visited several web sites and have read numerous results of women stating their bleeding never stopped, worse cramping, and PMS also with a return to their normal excessive periods after 2 to 3 years. Are these women the exception? For every woman stating the continued bleeding and heavy cramping, are there 100 women who have had exceptional results? I am wondering if the " good result " women no longer get on these boards. Are the techniques improved for endometrial ablation so the end result is improving. Are there several of you on this board who can answer my questions to assist in me making my decision to do this or continue on Yasmin. Many many thanks for your responses.
