Last year due to another medical problem, I was put on the duragesic patch. I wore the patch for 2 months. I had a VERY difficult time after I quit using it! The withdrawal symptons were some of the worst I've ever experienced. It has been offered to me again and I'd rather deal with the pain then face the withdrawals again. Just thought I'd share my experience. I had been prescribed Fioricet for my headaches, I now have found out that particular drug can cause rebound headaches. Is there another pain medication other than the patch I can take without the risk of rebound headaches? Does anyone know how disability works with ACM? Thanks.
