Guest guest
Ginny, Glad to hear that you can get in sooner than what you was told! At least you will start getting your treatments sooner anyways. thats always a good thing! Now if the treatments will just work the way that the doctors are hoping that they will.... Guest guest
Thanks Tonia...I am hoping that once they start treating me I will get good results. I did find out today I won't be able to start the infusions for at least another 11 or 12 days...I have a cyst that became infected and and am on cephlax for 10 days now. You can't get remicade if you have a cold or active infection. I think they will start me on methatrexate instead now..cause they don't want to keep waiting and waiting. I will be happy if whatever they treat me with makes my optic neuritis go away. I did find out that I have alot of vision loss in the right eye that was detected with all the testing done. Even though I can see it is a significant loss. I have been getting alot of headaches which is now being atributed to eye strain...because I am over using my left eye to compensate for the loss of sight in my right eye. I also can not drive at all at night anymore...Drs orders...which I hate...Hate losing my independence and having to count on others to drive me places. So I hope the treatment works and I can start driving at night again sooner then later. Hope you have been doing better...Hugs..Ginny Tonia wrote: Ginny, Glad to hear that you can get in sooner than what you was told!
