Lyn--Okay, you were pretty far from me. Thats too bad...it would have been nice to have met you. I stopped going to the rsd group meetings they had not too far from me. They all went to the same dr. and only responded to each other in the sessions. So I felt kinda 'left-out'.Where does Cliff live? Maybe we can get a chance to meet each other. Yeh, they wanted 'seasoned' 'cause they don't want anyone 'wigging' out on them because they are first-timers. Probably less chance of becoming addicted too...I dunno...Yeh, 'happy ' is not the feeling I remember from my 'experience' with it. I had a lot of paranoia with mine. Later someone told me that there may have been something else in the 'cig'. It scared me to death..I forgot what website I got the alerts from. One of the rsd sites, I'm sure. I'm always looking to see if I can get some new info. Did anyone watch the program about the little girl in the oxygen chamber last night?

I can't rreally manage my pain, it seems to do its own thing...I just 'ride the wave'....wishing you less painful days..lynlorraine wrote:

I was in Antioch about 40 miles east of SF. Probably 500 miles or so from you. Looks like you and Cliff or not to far from each other. So! Your experience was similar! I wonder how this research will be conducted. I noticed that they wanted "seasoned" (my word) users for their test. I wonder if that makes a difference. I read a few posts on another site and they were raving about the "good" effects and "at least" it made them happy. I couldn't relate. BTW, Where do you subscribe to the alerts? Seems to be a currrent source of info. Thanks and hope you are managing pain. you it worked for me for a while and I was feeling nooooo pain. Then about 30 minutes later I thought I was getting hit by a train in slow motion. All the pain I had had before I inhaled had come back double-time. I was miserable for a very long time. Until that stuff got out of my system. Whoa!!! > Where were you in Cali? I'll admit that I do use it every so often.....when my pain levels hit 10 and stay there for more than 2 days straight.

For me, It helps me get some sleep.......without waking up every hour-2 hours in pain. BUT, it all depends on what kind you get. Most people doesn't know that there are MANY different kinds of "mary jane" out there. From not worth a crap to stuff that makes you float on air.......

But, it's just like the Meds that everyone takes.....what works for one person, might not work for 10 others.

,Interesting study. I was never a user (honestly) but when I had RSD in the 90's a friend suggested I try it. At first I'd say it helped temporarily but after a short time it started to do the opposite and actually intensified the pain in my foot and lower leg. It felt like it was throbbing with every heartbeat. It was too much and I stopped using it. I wonder if it was just me or it the effects change after you use it for a while. Interesting...... I notice we have at least two members that live within driving distance to . Lyn

Lyn--Hopefully we can hook up soon, maybe after the holidays. I'm excited. It's been so long since I've been face-to-face with another rsd'er....Yeh girl, you gotta 'ride that wave'.......lynlorraine wrote:

,My Pin Pal Map is a success. Because I see it everyday I get to "see" when members live close enough to each other to meet up! I feel like the RSD matchmaker! I am very pleased to see that you and Cliff connected. (Cliff! your praise for your dr makes me want to jump on a plane to see him.)I didn't see the TV program on the chamber. Can you tell me about it? I am interested in HBOT and have been reading about it. As for pain - I like your picture of riding that wave. That is managment to me! Hope this is a low pain day. Tonia--So you have never had that 'rebound' pain after the smoke? Maybe I hooked up with some 'crap'......Thats good that it helps you, like you said, what helps one person may not help someone else. Take care...Tonia wrote:
