Guest guest
A couple of recent postings have questioned the use of anti- inflammatories preop and post op . Here's some food for thought . Mc Minn one of the Resurf Gurus questions the use of these drugs having found definite examples of bone destruction and deterioration following their use particularly their prolonged use .It would seem to follow that if these drugs could cause bone problems preop then it would seem logical that they could do this post op . Limited use might be OK , however prolonged use could be another story. McMinn states these findings in his paper " Development of Metal/Metal Hip Resurfacing " on pg 12 . on the Yahoo Health Groups site. Seems to me it's also been mentioned before in some of the postings . Fred
