As I posted earlier this week. We just stayed at the Hampton Inn

right across 26 from Lexington Medical Center. Make sure to tell them

you are staying due to surgery at the Medical Center and you should

get the $55 per night rate (king bed, non smoking). If I could find

the receipt I could give you the number. The address is on Chris

Drive, I believe.

I found it:

Hampton Inn

1094 Drive

West Columbia, SC 29169

It's right at I-26 and Sunset. Close to the Midland Orthopedics

office on Sunset and Lexington Medical Center.

Don't forget to ask for the rate for patients at the Medical Center!

Best of luck, you are in great hands!

Thanks ,

Actually, I've already HAD my resurfacing! (last June) My mother is

going to have a partial knee replacement by Dr. Gross on April 12. I

was at Providence, so we aren't familiar with the Lexington hotels.

Thanks for the information!

Sorry about the confusion. Best of luck to your mom. As you know,

she will be well taken care of.

Hey, no way you would know.

How are YOU doing? Well, I hope! I'm 9 mos out and out playing tennis

again. (singles and doubles) So nice to have my life back. It'll be

good to see Dr. Gross and staff again (under different circumstances!)

My new C2K celebrated it's first week today. I have almost no pain

(haven't since I came out of the O.R.), I am walking with some minor

support from crutches - I walked around the block yesterday. Still

working on rebuilding those muscles - doing my exercises every day.

Even though I followed this list for over a year prior to my surgery,

I still was not prepared for how good the outcome could be. Yes, it's

still uncomfortable to sleep but last night I slept all the way

through. Tennis, yes, that would be nice. I haven't been able to

play in years but first . . . walking!

Say hi to the doc and Lee for me.
