I understand that Koen now has a private surgery, and i am not too sure how that weorks, but when i had mine implanted 28 months ago, it was done at the University hospital in Ghent. I stayed 1 week in total, although I felt well enough to leave after 4 days or so. The hospital was very nice, clean, friendly staff and best of all the familly rooms were like hotel rooms, but costing just 12 euros per night.
