Guest guest
First off, Attaboy !!!When I grow up, I want to be just like you! Hope you are still officiating. Fred, yeah the garbage bag is good. Also, a thinner bed pillow or something soft to shape under your incision or in the local area. What felt good when you got out of the car may not feel good once you get back in. Hence, adjustment underneath you is necessary. I found the routine of sitting back down in the seat, while grabbing the door frame overhead, very easy. You have someone swing both your legs in the car, and then the adjustment begins. Just remember to have your help pull the garbage bag out from under you before you get sweaty. And to keep your leg pumping, write the alphabet with your toe. Oh, and enjoy the ride. Keep drinking water, too. Call you at three days PO Capt Amaze_O (C+, Mont, Sinai, 12-17-01) -- In surfacehippy , " fredinconn " wrote: > , > > You and the others are a great inspiration. Guest guest
Captain, Many thanks for the tips. I am scrambling to get everything teed up for Thursday's surgery, driving off to Baltimore this afternoon for tests and blood work tomorrow. Then Thusday surgery and a Sunday discharge is the plan. Thanks to this site, and folks like you, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Guest guest
Captain, my Captain, How are things with Cap't Amazo? When you grow up, life will be over as we know it! Good to hear from you. How's the new wheel? Feeling OK? The next time you Michiganians get together I want to know about it ahead of time. Yes, still officiating. Great season. Spent most of the summer in Australia, working " gridiron " as the mates call it, ended up in Virginia around Thanksgiving doing college playoffs. Still working soccer? New hip feels great, the only pains I get are in the " original equipment. " Keep us posted. > > > Today marks my three year anniversary as a surfacehippy and I > would > > > first like to acknowledge those friends here who helped me to > make > > my > > > decision and go for the resurf. > > > Secondly, to Dr. Mont and his fine staff in Baltimore for doing > > such > > > a fantastic job on me.
