Guest guest Posted February 22, 2004 Report Share Posted February 22, 2004 Hi Sue: I am not kidding - the lady I got specifically said there were 7 conferences and that everything in the hotel was gone for July 14th. I gave her the conference dates and told her it was for EDNF. She said there was just the one room left out of that block booking and there were some for the days afterward. I talked to her for about 5 minutes and asked her to check again as I couldn't imagine everything would be gone. She gave me the same info. I got this person by using the 1-800 number that was on the reservation screen after I had typed in the July 14-18 in the date section and got a message nothing was available. Maybe this was someone at a call center for all the Hyatts (if they have such a thing) and she was looking at the wrong hotel's info?????? We can only hope it is something simple like that. Does that mean that I by accident can have gotten the conference rate by error, that she has confused two different codes? Because as I understood it, she found another code... This whole thing is rather confusing. I am glad that this came up now, so that you can sort things out with the hotel. There must be some kind of mess there since different people get such different answers from them, and I got one answer from one lady at the hotel and another answer from another lady... But as long as they let me make the reservation for July 13 - 19 and said it would be with the conference rate (that was $99, right?), they can't suddenly change it, can they? I hope I get a written confirmation from them...
