Guest guest
A osteopath wanted to do this on me. Apparently, they inject a sugar water solution into your joints to cause inflamation which in turn is suppose to sort of build up tissues in the joint - the inflamation causes the healing process to start working. This is suppose to help make the joint more stable. Maybe it causes scar tissue or something. I didn't like the sound of this at all. I certainly don't need any more pain in my joints. She said it would be painful. Of course, inflamation is painful, not to mention the injection itself. I have check this out a bit on the internet, and is says that it does help some people. I just didn't want to try it.
