Guest guest
Pam - While you've probably been asked this already, are you eligible for state-issued health insurance? I guess I'm not understanding how you can't be considered eligible for some kind of state or federal assistance with medical coverage. Hope your doc helps you out and you'll start feeling better soon. BarbaraPamela Fredette wrote: BARBARA, WELL I CALLED THE ONE THAT YOU TOLD ME ABOUT BUT THEY DO NOT TAKE PRIVATE PAY PATIENTS. Guest guest
Pam, I have a friend Checking now to see if there are any doctor's in your area that will take you without having insurance, but will take cash at the time of the appointment. She's not sure if she can find anyone though, but she's trying! Hopefully we'll be able to find you a doctor soon....otherwise, you might have to travel to find a doctor. I had to drive (well, hubby drove) to Chicago, a 1100 mile round trip....and pay out of pocket to see a doctor just to get diagnosed, and then kept driving back and forth to see him 20 times between Jan-June 2002. I paid for the first 4 times, and luckily was able to get on State Medical that paid the rest, which were the blocks and stuff which costs the most. Good luck Tonia -------Original Message------- Pamela Fredette wrote: BARBARA, WELL I CALLED THE ONE THAT YOU TOLD ME ABOUT BUT THEY DO NOT TAKE PRIVATE PAY PATIENTS.
