Patti, this sounds like my kids. Sunshine was there healer. I am in

Burlington and as soon as I get unpacked I am going to find every EDSer in every

surrounding state. I have already done a few things to get it going but, moving

.....holidays and caring for OB was a load.

He will be cremated and taken back to the Ocean where he came from and where

we were married on New Year's Eve. Ocean Beach has a yr. old brother...we

thought they hated each other but Deega was up all night looking for him. It was

sad to watch. He did not eat either, so we know that he is missing his bro.

Pets are something else, whenever I was having a bad time he was right there

by my side. When we went to the CEDA picnic he got to visit with everyone and

thought he was a " hoot " .

I thank Barb for finding that beautiful poem? She is something else. Now I

know why we work so well together...:)

Today I am at a 10 for pain and I understand stress is a big helper, but all

I want to do today is stay in bed....being the smarty cat I am I know it will

make me hurt more...so I guess a tad more unpacking is about to develop.

As big as this house is I pray we all can have a get together here in the

summer. How about it JILL??????????

Have a great day all....Chrisitne

A get-together at your place would be great -- only if you feel up to it. We

can all bring things to make it easier - like a pot-luck?? You can count me in.

I also have two cats who also miss Willow - she was the matriarch and kept them

in line!! So they're really kinda lost without her, but they want to stay close

to me all the time -- which is OK - I love them dearly.

Hope your pain eases off and I would really look forward to meeting you this

summer.

Love, Patti

You're welcome, Chris. I actually saw this posted on a service dog list

when a retired service dog passed away. It just really touched me as I am

sure it touches anyone who truly loves a dog. I saved it for times like

these.
