Guest guest Posted February 15, 2004 Report Share Posted February 15, 2004 Can anyone recommend good supportive furniture for the living room, for people with hip and lower back problems? Have had any hip or back surgery, but if you've noticed my post a few days ago, I'm " getting there " . My fiance' also has lower back discomfort. We have a Lazy Boy all leather sofa with recliners on each end, but couldn't get comfy. We now have a quality futon with later mattress but still not happy. Lower back seems to go out quick. Believe it or not, I use to have a Bauhaus sectional, contemporary style with a straight across low back with tons of small pillows and I always seemed to be able to get comfortable on it, of course that was over 10 years ago. Bottom line, we would like to find a contemporary style perfect L shaped sectional that we can both lay out on while watching TV. Or sit. It's up to the 2 mini schnauzers really.
