Do you sew? If you do, simply cut the elastic band on the opposite

side of the plastic button and then sew an " expander " piece of

fabric between the two cut ends. Even better would be to cut the

band and then get some velcro, hook and loop material. Sew this on

the two cut ends with some overlap. That way, you would be able to

adjust the size as needed if your hands and wrists swell later in

your term.
