Guest guest
Fast weight loss releases all those toxins which were hitherto stored in fat cells!!!! My girlfreind went on a diet and suddenly developed hodgkins right out of the blue. in Germany [ ] Could this be mercury toxicity? > A friend of mine just the other day has landed in the hospital with some bizarre serious illness that nailed him and they have no clue. It is along the lines of bell palsy/ms/stroke yet they have ruled those out along with a few other autoimmune diseases. Hopefully unrelated, but he did just recently lose 60 pounds low carbing/Adkins, and in addition to weight lose is in excellent physical strength and shape. He is 42. This came on very suddenly with back pains; tingling; and then double vision before he landed in the hospital. He has lost most function of his left side; and is really a mess. I've seen enough to know these signs could very well be mercury related. What made me think of mercury is that he used to be a painter for years, so would at least have the means of exposure. Prior to starting to have some real odd symptoms a week ago, he had no problems. Could mercury poisoning have the ability to just come on out of the blue like this? I'm wondering if it could sit dormant in the body and then something may have set it off in a bad way. Doctors are running all sorts of tests looking for something, I'm wondering does anyone believe they would even consider mercury toxicity? Do doctors recognize it, and if so, how would they be able to test for it? Also if there is a specific document out there that might link something like this please let me know. I did do some searches, but there is so much out there it's hard to sort though it all. > Thanks, > Kari > >
Guest guest
I would have thought if toxins are the problem, loosing weight could set free all sorts which have previously been contained in fat etc. Sorry not really any help. Guest guest
Actually this sounds very simular to what happened to a man I know. He lost a lot of weight and became very sick. Finally a doctor started asking the right questions and related the problem to his hobby. He is an artist/woodcarver. In his case most likely arsenic. > A friend of mine just the other day has landed in the hospital with some bizarre serious illness that nailed him and they have no clue. Guest guest
The body tries to tuck away some toxins where they'll do the least damage, hence the fat. Losing weight can allow the toxins to begin recirculating and thus cause problems. If/when docs consider toxic metals it's typically only for recent, acute exposure rather than chronic or " old " exposure.
