>>>He shouldn;t be taking it every day, this is a bizarre idea of your

doctors. How much do you give him and how often? Inconsistent dosing will

mobilise

metals and not give them what they need to get out of his system. The Cutler

protocol which mist of us here use is 1/8 - 1/2mg per pound of child per dose

given every 4 hours round the clock for 3 days for DMSA only. My son is 60

pounds and egts 25mg doses. Frequent low dosing reduces side effects,

redistribution and strain on the liver. You can read all abbout it in the files

Well done for fogetting the DMSA for your hols!!

>>>I would forget trying to duplicate his foods with CFGF, I would try

enzymes instead. The ones from HNI do a better job anyways - some links for info

below. My son has been off the diet with HNI enzymes since May 2001 and made

many

more improvemenst than he did on the diet. Some people still need to remove a

few offending foods but positive success rates run at about 85% which is far

higher than the diet anyway.

Sounds like probably yeast

http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm

It can also be over-stress on the liver and kidneys from having to

process metals every day without a break to rest and recover.

Try giving enzymes. Then if you still want/need to remove gluten, it

*should* be easier to do so.

Stop it. DMSA must be given every 4 hours or more often, day and

night, or not at all.

If your doctor doesn't know this he isn't competent to supervise

chelation and shouldn't be doing it.

> when he first started we

Remember, lots of people got into this mess because their doctor

decided the thimerosal in vaccinations was just fine. Just because the

doctor decides some really bad thing is OK to do to your kid doesn't

mean your kid won't get sick from it.

> Recently he started showing strange behavior

> and very hyper (more than usual).

As expected in response to an inappropriate chelation protocol.

> friend and I took him snow skiing and I left the meds

Gee, you inadvertently did the correct experiment to prove that the

doctor was hurting your kid through inappropriate prescribing.

> Has anyone gone through this

Tens of thousands of people (at least) have gone through this kind of

thing with assorted harmful and inappropriate chelation protocols. It

isn't new.

> and if so what did you do

> to make a positive change??

You have to chelate properly so as to remove the extra mercury that has

been slammed into his brain by the harmful protocol. Proper chelation

involves giving the agents adequately frequently to maintain reasonably

constant blood levels, e. g. every 3-4 hours (or more often) for ALA,

every 4 for DMSA, every 8 for DMPS.

Either home school him while doing it or have the doctor write orders

to do it and give them to the school. It is farily hard for them to

explain to CPS why they turned you in for following doctor's orders so

they are unlikely to try.

Soiunds like you had it right the first time, just start down that path

again and be patient.
