You can still enjoy the site without having all the mail in your

inbox. Did it myself as I had the same problem especially when I

wasn't able to get to the mail for a few days. Just go to your

profile and change the mail thingy. You can then go to the site

when you choose and read what you want and it doesn't feel so much.
