(forwarded to the SWW mods, so I'm sending it along to the group)

Hi

I'm a 34 yo mom of a darling 18 mo daughter and an almost 5 yo cutie

son. My husband is a teacher and I run an online consignment

business (digitalconsignment.com) from home. I also teach

computer skills as a private tutor and occasionally for community

education a few evenings a month. Once a month I spend the day

maintaining their law books at a local law office while my mother in

law comes up for the day to play with (and watch) the kids. I also

secret/mystery shop and this is the primary supplement I provide to

my husband's income. the digitalconsignment business is still just

a large tax deduction - someday we hope it will be profitable

though (no rush, preferably by the time my 18 mo is ready for preK).

Basically I am joining WW because I hope that I will be able to

adopt the WW way of counting food easily as I know that I can lose

this weight if I'm careful. but I'm here because I know I need

support - have lost down to the 170s before - in 1999 with LA

Weight Loss. but 2 babies and a lot of indulgence later I'm really

unhealthily heavy now. As you may have read in my very brief

(under 200 words) intro block on the sign up sheet for the group, my

current weight is in the 230s and I hope to reach somewhere between

170 & 180 sometime in the next 5 years :-)

I want to be healthier by 40 years of age. I was able to go to

Curves regularly for about a period of 3 mos during the last year

and showed a weight and measurement difference during that time

but without regular childcare available I have only been able to go

about 2xs weekly (after dinner when my husband watches the kids on

his days off school and when I'm not working that night) the

remainder of this past year and this frequency was not producing

results.

I am leaving Curves temporarily to invest my $30 monthly elsewhere

(WW online membership etc).

Um, feel free to ask me questions - I think I've filled you in on my

life as I know it.

I look forward to meeting y'all!
