Cheryl in CA -- RE: stomach Problems have very very very bad pain 2 to 3 hours after I eat Beef or Pork.At first GI Doc thought it may be Gallbladder, and the only way to ruleit out was to take it out. After removal of my Gallbladder I still hadproblems with the pain. I get a referral to a Dr in Dallas, I live inLittle Rock, and he says it is Biliary Diskensia (properly spelledwrong). There is a surgery for it with a 45% success rate. Since I cancontrol the pain by not eating any meat or pork I turned down the offerof surgery. Biliary Diskensia is a malformation of the sphincter thereleases bile into the bowel. The fat and the difficulty the bowel hasin processing the meat causes the Pancreas to release a ton of bile andthe sphincter is not opening causing this bile to back up.
