Guest guest
Hi, everyone. Sorry, I haven't posted in awhile. I have been reading the post and trying to keep up with everybody. The last few months have been crazy. My health seems to be failing me faster than I thought. Now, I have a new problem, my blood pressure. It has been high before but it has never stayed up more than a day. Well, it's been 6 days now and I just took it again. It was 140/110. I know that's too high and I went the my dr. yesterday and he did a bunch of test on me and ordered a bunch more. But, I left there with no rx to help me get it down. I'm trying to do what my dr. said but, I feel like crap. My sx's are the blood pressure, of course, and the muscles in my neck and shoulder have been tight for a few weeks now. I have had the same rash for over a month(I have another dr.'s appt. for the dermatologist tomorrow) My blood pressure seems to be higher in the AM after I wake up. I know all the signs to go to the ER but all those signs were there yesterday when I went to the dr. He said something about a tumor that secretes(?) epinefren or adrinilin(?) has anybody every heard of this ? I go for an echo and renal ultrasound in the am. Does anybody have any ideas on this? I'm totally stumped plus my brain isn't working well these days. So any input would help. Thanks, Helen Hi, to all the newbies!!!
Guest guest
Helen, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time right now. Is your doctor a cardio specialist, or your primary care? You need, it sounds like to me, another opinion, and fast. And, why didn't he order any c/v tests? I would call his office and insist on some answers, and a referral to a heart doc. Just my opinion, here. Let us know how things go, and how you are faring. Loving hugs, MM
