Guest guest
Tory, Sounds like you had a fabulous time!! How fun! Top Ten Time! Well kids, it's that time again...yeah, I know. I'm sure you just skim through and think " Lord Tory is a geek " but so what. I'm still sending it! This is my top ten, the European Version These are top ten things that happened on our trip to Norway and England. We had a GREAT time, for the most part. 10. Eating shrimp and smoked salmon sandwiches at the fishmarket in Bergen. 9. Running along the site of Hadrian's Wall, a wall that was erected in the 122 AD to mark the northernmost boundary of Roman Britain. We ran along there twice; a 3.5 mile run and an 8 mile run. Additional blessing, Roy ran with me on every single run this vacation. It was so neat to be running with my honey in Europe. 8. Hiking three mountains in Bergen with , Roy's cousin's husband. The scenery was breathtaking and the company was fine! 7. Smorgasbord with Roy's family on our second night. It was so neat getting to know everyone and talking with them. 6. We visited Alnwick Castle in England and saw some spectacular sites. The gardens were beautiful and amazing. What incredible history! 5. I've been pining for them for years, and finally I got a chance to see the fjords. Wow. That's all I can say. If you ever get the chance to go to Europe and travel around, to NOT miss the fjords. 4. England has fresh fruits and vegetables and you can buy them and eat them and it's WONDERFUL! I have never ever ever been so happy to see a salad in my life! 3. We took a " cruise " from Norway to England and had a nice, relaxing time on the boat. There is nothing more beautiful than watching a sunset from the back of a ship. Bonus! We got up early and watched the sunrise from the same boat! 2. One morning we got up at 5 a.m. and ran from Gravdal into Bergen, around town, along the waterfront, and then into the center of town for a total of ten miles. It was SO cool watching the city wake up. 1. Our European adventure has led us to start pre-planning a " Let's pretend we're 19 again and backpack around Europe " trip, which we plan to take in a couple of years! ~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~' Tory Klementsen, MCP A+ Career and Technology Educator www.teechur.com www.msteechur.com -The successful person will do the things that the unsuccessful person will not.
