Guest guest
Hi Christi, I'm the same, I usually don't feel like I've eaten enough after having one of the convenience meals. I usually make a big salad or a side of veggies and then I eat fruit for dessert. It fills me up much better than when I eat the meal alone. If I'm really in a pinch for time (or feeling lazy!), I have a 2 pt. bar for dessert instead of making veggies. in CO lean cuisine, etc I tried a lean cuisine cafe classics today for lunch. It was orange beef, and came with pasta, bok choy, carrots and water chestnuts. it had good flavor, i was really surprised, (tasted authentic as far as chinese goes) and I am delighted that it is " portion control' esptcially on the carboydrate count. Chinese is usually death for me carbwise. The whole thing was 6 pts. My question is, when yall eat these things, do you eat anything else with it, like a side of veggies? It was really good, but not quite substantial enough for me. christi
Guest guest
I keep these on hand for emergency use only as I don't like all the chemicals in them. But what I do is have a small salad, add a -0- pt veggie and/or depending on my leftover points, I will have a slice of buttered bread....especially with the turkey, dressing and gravy meal, I love to soak up the leftover gravy with my bread. Guest guest
I usually have a salad or a veggie with those or even WW meals. Usually, tv dinners, even healthy ones are low on veggies.

When I have a Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones or whatever, I try to choose the lowest-points ones. I often add a huge salad with my favorite low-point dressing (2 T for 1 point) with added cucumber and tomato for zero points. In addition I sometimes open a can of vegetables (I love veggies!), like a can of green beans for zero points. If I'm still hungry I'll sometimes add a toasted Wonder hamburger bun with Butter Pam (one point for both halves). You can see that I end up with a HUGE lunch for a total of about 8 points. As I said, I like volume! Bette 278/187/175 (getting there, one pound at a time!)
Guest guest
I eat a great big salad with fat free italian dressing with it every day. Then about an hour later I'll have a piece of fruit. > lean cuisine, etc > > > I tried a lean cuisine cafe classics today for lunch. " dessert " to finish it off. Then I never feel deprived. April
