That sounds wonderful!!!! I'll be looking forward to it!!! :)

------------------------

By way of a bit of additional info on what we have in mind, we are

looking at it in several different ways. I say " we " because Barb and

my wife will be helping on it.

One project will be to take a series of digital photos of a body

(arm, leg, hand, torso, etc) and mark the meridians and acupoints on

the photos for reference. Tied in with this will be a set of

instructions for use. In other words, which points do you use for

things like headaches, sinus congestion, constipation, etc. The

instructions will include both simple one or two point techniques as

well as more advanced multiple point releases.

A second project will be similar to the above but will focus on more

detailed Polarity Therapy releases.

A third project will be to go back and collect some of the posts and

off-list emails I have done over the last few months and put them

into a massage/bodywork file on the list. This will be geared

toward things like Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Sciatica, Scoliosis,

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, etc. In other words, condition oriented.

A fourth project will cover write-ups on the various alternative

modalities - what they are, what they do, how they work, etc. This

will cover things like Polarity, Acupressure, Cranialsacral Therapy,

Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, etc.

Tied in with all of the above, I would like to try to do some actual

research on the effectiveness of some of these modalities and/or

techniques. This will include doing some surveys through the list.

The above covers my primary focus on it. Tied in with this,

however, Barb will be pulling together information on EDS in

general - what it is, current research, types, etc., etc. Our goal

over the next year is to be able to pull all of this together into a

hard copy reference manual or book.
