Guest guest
Yes splits in the heels, sometimes it is indeed very painful , makes it almost impossible to walk at all- and its so small , one wouldnt think it could cause such a huge problem by looking at it. I do keep it controlled with that eurcin cream- Im sure I am not spelling that correctly- but its by my bed lol- so close enough....... ( spelling that is ) it is expensive but they have a generic form of it out that isnt so high in price and works well too......... but normally, once it happens- I stick that lotion on pretty thick, try to make a bandaid stick to the heel after that and still slip nylons on over all....... sometimes it causes the bandaid to be where it shouldn't - so if that happens, the nylons being so hard to get on/off- I have ever just gobbed it on heel right thru the nylons....... seems to help....... Also while on this subject- I meant to ask, this came to my mind several times but I keep forgetting to ask........ Any particular way any of you shave your legs- its hard for me to do- but that Nair burns me too badly- anything else on the market that anyone can think of that I could try? Being housebound for 2 yrs- I miss the new products that come out- ( I don't watch t.v. so miss advertised products as well ) LOL- I've never heard of liquid band-aid till this e-mail........ may have to add that to my list. Hugs, TJ ~ TJ, I don't have skin flake off my heels like that, but my (adult) daughter does....she has a time with the skin on her feet. The " bleeding slices " you mentioned, are those splits in the heel skin that have split opened? If so--I know exactly what that's like. They hurt something fierce!! I can sorta keep them controlled a little with *lots* of lotion on my feet. I started using Liquid bandaid. It helps keep it sealed. Then use a band aid over it to cushion it. CindyH Wisc.
