Wow! That's bizarre!

Then again, there's pics of a guy that has had 10 surgeries to make

himself look like a really ugly tiger. =)

14,000 calories a day!!

Hi, I was just curious if anyone watched VH-1's " Totally Obsessed " show

tonight?

They had a piece on about a woman who's goal is to weigh 600 pounds.

She eats around 14,000 calories a day. And her husband supports her.

They say at the rate she's going she will reach her goal in 2 years.

She's about 350 now.

pictures. On the program she showed off the sexy way she's dressing now.

SHe says

the bigger she gets, the more like a woman she feels.

Her doctor has advised her that this weight obsession is not a good

thing. I guess this is the opposite of anorexia. I can understand if

nature made you a certain way, but to do something

like this seems foolish to me.

I am glad that she is happy with her size, everyone should feel good

about themselves no matter what they weigh, but to eat that much

everyday just seems so insane to me.

Apparently she has a web site with suggestive poses but you have to pay to get

in. She has a message board and on the VH-1 site there is a message board about

that and she posted an article she wrote about feederism. Feedersim is

apparently where a man (or I guess a woman also) helps their partner gain weight

for sexual gratification. I think I will keep counting points.

I would imagine that there are either one of two things at play here, or

both.

1. There are men who are so controlling and are attracted to very large

women that they will encourage weight gain, and I've even seen/read

situations where they will force feed their wives. Often, as we all know,

weight issues come with very lost self esteem so they find women full of

self hate, build them up about how beautiful they are, but in a sick way

(not that I'm saying that fat isn't beautiful, but that the men's obsession

is sick), and then force them to gain weight.

2. The woman may very well be suffering from a mental illness. " Normal "

people know that 14,000 intentional calories a day is just asking for an

early grave buried in a piano box. She's obviously not thinking clearly

about this, which may indicate some mental illness. She seems to have

completely self destructive tendencies.

Regardless, it is really sad. It's almost like she needs an intervention and

to be put into a treatment facility because she is killing herself.
