Guest guest
Are we reintroducing ourselves? Well why not!? Hey all! I'm Tory. I've been on Weight Watchers since February of 2002 and have lost (as of today) 107.6 pounds. I met my goal weight of 130 in December of 2002, my personal goal weight of 120 in January 2003, and have maintained my " happy, but I'm sure it won't last forever " weight of around 115 since June 2003. I maintain by continuing to journal and count points every single day. I believe that there is no such thing as " off program " and never do go off program. I plan for high days and use my flexpoints and activity points, but if I'm out of points I'm out of points just like if I'm out of money, I don't go shopping. I used to be a complete couch potato...and I mean COMPLETE couch potato. I'd get home from work, park in front of my computer and TV, and that was the evening. Now I exercise every day and enjoy running, weightlifting, swimming, and biking. I competed in two triathlons this summer and one half marathon this last Monday. I'm training for a full marathon in November. I'm married to Roy, my high school sweetheart. We're both teachers at the high school from which we graduated. He teaches drama and English. I teach IT classes (network administration I and II, A+ Computer Maintenance and Repair, and Advanced A+ Internship) and Family Health. We have no children; God did not choose to bless us. But we both love our jobs, adore our students, and put a great deal of time and effort into making sure that every student leaves our classes feeling like valued, educated people. We have two silly dogs, two funky cats, and two gorgeous corn snakes. We enjoy travelling (went to Norway and England this summer), all things Disney, fitness, movies, going to see plays (we saw " Hairspray " last night for the second time), concerts, and just plain having a good time together. So that's me in a nutshell!
