Guest guest
Hello all! My visit with Dr. H went as we thought. was starting to relapse as we expected (as a reminder she was in the AFO's). We caught it early enough that the damage could have been worse! Thanks to all of you who gave me heads up about the AFO's in the first place or I may have never gotten a 2nd opinion. I was disappointed not have met anyone except and her son . Maybe next time! is back in casts for 2 weeks and then possibly another tenotomy. Then back to shoes and bar. We may go for s this time since we had so much trouble with the Markells. Then again that was because the feet weren't corrected properly. I love Dr. H and his professional team. What amazing difference from my old Ortho. I have yet to break him the news. Does anyone have suggestions on how to dump your old doctor? I am not the type to say piss-off, although I am surely thinking it. will also be featured in Dr. H conference on Sept 4th, so maybe I will meet some of you then. & BCF 3/2/
Guest guest
, Glad you were as impressed with Dr. H as we were. He and his staff are FANTASTIC! I just can't say enough good things about them. Dylan and I will be at the symposium on September 4th. Perhaps we'll meet you there! Anyone else here going to be there? Theresa > Hello all! Guest guest
Hi, Okay so I feel a little left out (LOL!). Dr H didn't even mention this to me at all. Is it an open conference or by invite only? Sounds like quite a few of you wil be there and I be interested to see what is said. Guest guest
If your old ortho knows anything about the Ponseti method and you are on the east coast then he should know who Dr. Herzenberg is. We just told our ortho that we felt our son was a difficult case and we wanted him to be treated by someone with extensive experience. When we said we were going to see Dr. Herzenberg he couldn't argue. He was very supportive and wants us to keep him informed on Tommy's progess and wants Dr. H to foward him his medical not4es. Hopefully your guy will be as supportive. If he is not then tell him to piss off. Tommy Lee 4/23/03 -- In nosurgery4clubfoot , " momshook2004 " wrote: > Hello all! Guest guest
Louise Don't feel left out it probably wasn't mentioned to you because will still be in her tenotomy cast. We were asked to come on the 4th so he could cast Tommy there(in an auditorium not the office) in order to teach and demonstrate in front of the doctors who will be attending. From what Sheila said there will be doctors there from around the world. I'm sure you can come to watch and hear what he has to say. Guest guest
Marilouise, don't feel left out! Sheila is the one who actually mentioned it to us. The conference is a seminar for other doctors from around the world to learn about the Ponseti method (from Dr H.). He is featuring some of his patients mostly depending on the stage they are at. I think he will be starting at earliest stage (newborn)all the way up to the end stage (3 or 4 year old). I believe Mr. will also be there to discuss his shoes. That is all I know about it. I bet you could call Sheila or leave her an email for more info. Shook Retail Operations Manager/Baking Instructor Vie de France Yamazaki, Inc. 2070 Chain Bridge Rd. Guest guest
Thank you . I feel my (old) Ortho has a major ego, so we will see what happens. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks -- I meant the " left out " part with all light heartedness! I'm thinking that didn't come across very well. Oops.
