Guest guest
jeff, we did the same thing without realizing. Zoe got her dbb on a Fri. am and we headed to new york city on the 5:30 am train the next morning. Luckily it was just for the weekend. We did consider leaving early the following day after a sleepless night. She didn't get any blisters, though. I think she just didn't like it and it took her a few days to get used to it. A few weeks later we went to Vermont for a week and she was fine for the whole trip. I haven't read the dbb tip sheet lately, but perhaps that could be one of the first tips if it's not on there already: STay close to home. Do not schedule a trip when your child gets the shoes and bar! To top it off we are on a visit to family and not near our doctor or a local orthopist. Mia has 2 ugly looking blisters one on her big toe and the other on the top of her foot. I've tried everything on the lists as far as help and nothing works, she cries unconsolably until we take it off. I hate to admit defeat, but are we looking at another cast or should I keep trying? The top of the foot blister is purpleish and the big toe one is big but only red. What should I do? Help please Jeff and Amelia 6wo w/ unilateral Left cf ... 10pds baby... _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
