ha ha very funny Mike! Yea, maybe we should deport them all!

When we lived in England, it was just not even an issue with the people we knew.

They just didn't drive if they are drinking. Most have their " local " pub within

walking distance of their home. And, if they go any farther, they take a bus or

taxi. Done deal. No exceptions. They wouldn't even chance it.

The public transportation is so user friendly over there.

And, inexpensive.

Maybe that's what we need. But, everything is so far away from people's homes,

usually here. We just need lots more cab companies, so the cost will go down

due to competition. Something like that. And, more bus service. But, I guess

Americans just don't want to give up their cars. It's like we feel poor if we

have to take a bus. We are so spoiled.

I think, you drive drunk, you lose your license. Done and over with. Maybe

after a few years, and proof of some kind of classes could get you your license

back.

I just don't understand why people chance it. Like they can't see that if they

cause an accident, they could ruin someone elses life, and theirs along with it,

and thier family's lives. Or, they just don't care.

All for what? Because they don't want to ride a bus.

Pathetic!!!!!!!

Mike was making a joke about the way kids talk, so don't worry.

I know, when we went to France, I was almost in a constant state of panic cause

I didn't speak the language. My husband could a bit. I got a taste of the

other side. But, I wasn't living there, just visiting. And, in Paris, most

people speak English. In fact, most people in Europe speak more than one

language. My kids were learning French and German in school there.

It's pretty embarrassing when everyone I knew over there could speak more than

one language, and I could only say a few words in a few languages. But, they

are so much closer to the other countries over there.

When you think that only 3% of American's even have passports, it makes a bit

more sense. EVERYONE has passports in Europe!

Oh good. I hope that's the case. She is working so hard to make the payments

for the car and the insurance. She's just a restaurant hostess, so all her $

pretty much goes to the car. She didn't do anything wrong, so I hope her

insurance won't go up.

Ta!

I know! How can that be? Either he was driving illegally (well, he was, cause

he didn't have insurance), or there is something that says you can drive for a

certain period before you get a Wa state license. I know that's the case in

England, but we spoke the language. Well, sort of. People said we are 2

countries separated by a common language. hehe

Boy, could I tell you some funny stories about the language mix up we had when

we first moved over there! Pretty funny stuff!
