Guest guest
My daughter is in biology class and her bio teacher has a huge chart up on the mapping of the chromosomes. She brought the map home so I could look at it.... it was very interesting as there are thousands of genetic disorders. What I found the MOST interesting is that it lists the old classifications of EDS and they are on Chromosome 2, (III and IV), Chromosome 7 (VIIA2 and X), Chromosome 1 (VI), Chromosome 9 (Unspecified EDS), Chromosome 17 (VIIA1) What is also interesting is that on Chr 9 also is dopamine beta hydroxylase deficiencies... dopamine is needed for movement of the muscles.... I also looked up Sticklers, Marfan's, OI, and several others... Bonnie
