Guest guest
I just want to share with you the good news. I feel so happy thanks god. When i sent Dr. Ponseti again the pictures he requested for to confirm if she has atypical clubfoot or not. He answered me yesterday that she does not have and she has a 15 degree dorsiflexion and there is no need to worry. All i have to do is just change her angle to 50 degrees for the right clubfoot. Thanks christine very much for the info you gave me for changing the angels. I was able to change them myself Heidi & (Unilateral RCF 1/5/2004) > > Dear All, > > > > After karen wore last week the mitchel sandals I found out that her > > leg was not seated properly in her sandals so i sent pictures > > with/without sandals to dr. Guest guest
Heidi, I was wondering how long it took Dr. Ponseti to answer your email. I sent him a slew of pictures last Tuesday asking him to give his opinion on my son's treatment. He has been in serial casting for a little over three months now and it appears as though he has a long way to go until he is ready for the tenotomy and DBB. My doctor says he is using the Ponseti method but it seems as though this first step in the process is taking longer than it should. On Dr. Ponseti's web site it said 9 weeks at the most! Waiting for a response is so hard when I am doubting our doctor's capabilities.--- Thanks, Tommy Lee BLCF 4/23/04 In nosurgery4clubfoot , " rita221068 " wrote: > I just want to share with you the good news. Guest guest
If you son has been in casts 3 months already I'd say your dr. is NOT using the true Ponseti Method. Don't panic, Dr. Ponseti WILL get back to you but since this board started he's swamped! Which is good you know, but just peace of mind he will not neglect your letter. s.
