Guest guest
Hi , I was interested to read your report because I signed up for this study and tried to get into it in either Boston or Mayo, no success -- had a myo on 12/8 and am pretty much completely recovered now. But what I was REALLY interested to see was that you had one really large fibroid instead of several less large ones -- that is what happened to me too. I thought I was probably the only person on the list who turned out to have fewer fibroids than expected. The doc described it as " multinodular " and looking like a snowman. I did get pix and he was exactly right -- one large fibroid with smaller ones growing out of it. Weird. My recollection is that you have to have MRI before the FUS, right? Did the MRI beforehand not show that you just had one large fibroid? I thought it was missed in my case because I only had ultrasounds. Anyway, congratulations!
