Guest guest Posted January 22, 2004 Report Share Posted January 22, 2004 1st of all : Happy Birthday, Carla !!!!!!! **************************************************************************** I am wondering where I should go after my myo : To my house directly, or to my parents' house for 3-4 days ... I live in a house with 6 cats in the living space, but only 2 sleep with me at night. The cat sitter will come 3 times/day the first 2 weeks, so i dont have to do any cat chores, etc. The bedroom/ bathroom at my parents' house would be way down about 45 steep stairs, so i wonder : would I be able to walk up all those stairs after 3-4 days, so that someone can drive me back to my house ? OR would it be better to just go to my house after surgery ? Either way, I will have someone stay with me the first few nights, and visitors during the day who will be quiet. Also, I tried putting a queen size pillow on top of my stomach/abdomen and a kitty sat on the pillow instead of on me. It felt O.k. but I am wondering if this will be enough protection...
